Official Debut and Re-debut
The duo originally made its debut under Friday Entertainment in 2006, consisting of members Heo Solji (now the leader and the main vocalist of EXID) and Kim Song-yi (now the main vocalist of Blady). They released their first song “The First Fragrance” on March 31st, 2006. Throughout their active years, the group released two studio albums: Nunsiul (눈시울), which was released on February 6th, 2008, and 2comfortable, which was released on November 5th, 2009. Meanwhile, 2nb with Heo Solji and Kim Song-yi released 15 digital singles throughout the six years of their career. Sadly, the original group had to disband in 2012. Not long after their disbandment, Heo Solji joined the girl group EXID and became their leader and lead singer and debuted within the same year, where she gained success and massive public recognition through her new group. Meanwhile, Kim Song-yi joined the group Blady in 2015 and filled the position as their main vocalist. Four years after their disbandment, the group underwent their second debut with the new line-up Son Yoona and Kim Hyo-jin in 2016, under the new label Donuts Culture. With the new line-up, the group released one album, Old Memory on April 19th, 2016. They also released three digital singles in 2017: “Naman Malgo, Nado…” (나만 말고, 나도…), “Love Notebook Part.2” (feat. Rapsta), and “Eotteon Haru” (어떤 하루). Unfortunately, this formation received the same fate as it didn’t last for long. In 2018, Son Yoona decided to leave the group by which Kim Hyo-jin became the sole carrier of this group up until this day, where she released two digital singles consecutively in 2019 and 2020.
